Many of us don’t know military history, believe it or not only 3% of the people fought in the civil war. The few who choose to serve this way usually have a heartfelt vocation to protect family, home and country. They are earnest warriors with natural and earned skills. When a military loses sight of the initial motivation and becomes political, global and a mediator of individual rights then our inalienable rights will be criminalized depending on the political climate. The protection of our way of life is with all people, not some. The Military must not take any side but to protect our inalienable rights from foreign or domestic enemies. The leadership of a military in our country cannot be compromised with political agendas.
