Family is our hardest commitment and our strongest foundation in life. If the family is dissembled and micromanaged by government rules, government schools and government run interventions pretending to help families be better, then the society has already failed. The cornerstone of community, state and federal government programs is to ensure families decide the lifestyle and life lessons based on their choices to worship God or not, educate according to their inheritance and make there way as God intends. Most families aren’t perfect but a disembodied government is no substitution for family life. In fact, welfare has destroyed family life and they devalued the providers who would have showed up. We can’t pretend that every family is perfect; but government programs that split families and charge them out of sovereignty aren’t beneficial to anyone. Life is about hard work and making the best of the opportunities you have, government cannot and will not ever be able to soften life lessons for any of us. Guaranteed liberty under the rule of law is the best we have other than the final Mercy of God with His Judgments.
